Ok i really should sleep soon. im trying to adjust to a healthier lifestyle. Sleep early. Wake up earl-ier. try to run in the morning. super healthy eh? In japanese "Ogenki desu ne?"
haha yeap. ive finally gotten around to taking japanese lessons! jo wanted to try out the group lesson that my mom teaches, so i went along with her yesterday. quite a good refresher course, ive gotten so rusty over the years its terrible!
Anyway, today something blog-worthy happened.guess where i went today. i went to the Singapore zoo!hahaaa. And to all you doubters, ive got pictures to prove it. i havent been there since CIP in sec 3 when i had to sweep the floor of the reptile kingdom!omg. terrible laa. exploiting school girls only ah. haha
Anyway, it was fun hanging out with the CS girls:) im really not an animal person, but it turned out to be quite interesting reading all the different facts about animals, and discovering that there are so many variants of different species. For instance, there are SO many different kinds of monkeys in the zoo la. Chimps, orang utans, gorillas, those tiny ones with the white paws(cant rem the name), and my favourite-the proboscis monkey!hahaa. its nose gets bigger and saggier as it gets older (see picture 6). i think i like the lion/tiger/cheetah/jaguar/leopard/puma the best, the cat kingdom basically. i hate cats per se (looks evil and too high maintenance), but i quite like the larger cat species:) One interesting fact: The cheetah can run at speed of 114km/h, but it can only run a maximum of 300-400m, otherwise its body gets too overheated. But usually it is able to catch it's prey by then. wow.
